Mission Statement
The Election Administration is responsible for the oversight and conduction of legal and timely elections, assuring that each eligible resident is afforded the opportunity to vote.
Programs/Service Lines
- Oversee Election Administration and support to successfully complete all required elections.
- Provide Voter Registration to the residents.
- Provide early In-Person Absentee Voting or Absentee Voting by Mail to residents.
- Provide Voting for Indefinitely Confined voters in Residential Care Facilities.
- Certify Nomination papers for Candidates running for local offices.
- Recruit, train, and schedule Election Inspectors at all polling locations.
- Maintenance, testing and security of city election equipment.
- Canvass, Reconciliation and filing of required documents at the conclusion of each election including data entry of voter participation.
