• Dredged the area north of Pier 5, and seven each of 30-foot finger piers were installed by Marina staff in spring, giving the Marina an additional 14 of 30-foot boat slips.
• Installed three additional cameras increasing security measures along the south channel, west wall, and trailer parking lot and added a PTZ camera located on the roof of the control building. The camera can be moved around and focused on areas of concern around the Marina.
• Replaced the aging furnace and installed central air to the north building in the spring, making it a more comfortable environment during the hot summer months for our tenants and guests utilizing the private restrooms and showers, laundry facilities and boater's lounge.
• Purchased four new golf carts, replacing the older used golf carts.
• Interstate Pump & Tank was awarded the Gasoline and Diesel Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) project. Installation of the new USTs was initiated at the beginning of May. The project was completed by the beginning of August.
• Continue to upgrade the Marina software based on the latest technology.
• Continue to operate as a Certified Clean Marina following the best practices set forth by the Wisconsin Clean Marina Program.
• Proudly achieved the "Elite Boater's Choice" award from Marinas.com based on customer reviews of our facilities and overall, Marina operation and performance. The "Elite Fleet" is the highest award given by Marinas.com. Thanks to the Marina's reputation as one of the best Marinas on the western shores of Lake Michigan, the Marina is once again filled to over 100% capacity boasting a healthy waiting list of boaters wanting to call Port Washington Marina home. This accolade and the waiting list is proof that Port Washington Municipal Marina continues to be a highly sought after "Destination Marina". The Marina continues to be booked with transient guests practically every weekend throughout the summer months. The Marina has become the "Must Stop" location for Loopers (doing the Great Lakes Loop), which keeps the Marina busy well into the fall season.
• Replaced the aging furnace and air conditioner unit at the Marina control building utilizing the repair budget.
• Increased the starting wages for Marina staff to retain existing staff and align with industry standards when hiring new staff.
• Rented 100 percent of the tenant slips, aiding in a profitable season for the Marina.
• Transient traffic continues to be on an increasing trend with many guests staying for several days, weeks, and even months.

• Add an additional four security cameras focusing on areas that are not covered by previously installed cameras.
• Upgrade all Wi-Fi radios around the marina utilizing the newest technology.
• Reseal and stripe the vehicle with trailer lot (M-4) and the tenant and meter parking lots (M-5 and M-6), providing clear parking guidelines and an improved parking experience.
• Repair existing potholes in the Marina parking lots.
• Explore installing permeable pavers by the fish cleaning station to reduce standing water following Wisconsin Clean Marina best practices for storm water management and green infrastructure. Apply for related grants to complete this project.
• Continue to operate as a Certified Wisconsin Clean Marina providing clean and safe waterways for our tenants and guests.
• Continue to upgrade Marina software based on the latest technology.
• Strive to offer the best customer service experience for all Marina tenants and guests.
• Continue to promote the Port Washington Marina as a “Destination Marina” and capitalize on the Marina’s proximity to the downtown area and all it has to offer (i.e., restaurants, bars, shops, parks, beaches, and the Interurban Trail to name a few).
