Senior Center

Mission Statement

The Commission shall investigate the needs of all programs for senior citizens, coordinate programs of special concern to them and prepare an annual report with recommendation for action to improve the quality of life for senior citizens.

Programs/Service Lines

  • Utilizing volunteers for leadership of leagues, regular activities, and support for secretarial office tasks.
  • Providing connections to the local and greater Community with trips, tours, service, and cooperative programs.
  • Facilitating vital social connections through regular activities cards, table games, leagues, creative arts, and special social events.
  • Providing a sense of place to maintain and improve physical and emotional wellbeing.

  • Monthly member usage.
  • Monthly guest usage.
  • Total number of classes/activities offered annually.
  • Volunteer hours - 
    • Monthly office hours recorded.
    • Quarterly program leader hours.
  • Financial support -
    • Number of Sponsorships or Partnerships annually.
    • Friends of the Center financial support for monthly birthday party dessert annual total.
